LA MACHINE

Contrary to what is reported in the novel by Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz, Joseph-Samuel Farinet exclusively falsified coins of twenty Swiss cents. The alloy of these coins is extremely hard, it was quite easy to make an imprint of it in white steel, and to use it to produce counterfeit coins.  Mixed media.
